For the realization of the “4.28 km/h Project”, Ratko Bokić embarked on a unique adventure of walking from Zagreb to the coast with a backpack, performing shows in small towns. The performance is accompanied by the sound of an audio documentary he recorded, which combined with the movement of juggling creates a multidimensional experience. An interesting, witty and inspiring performance that uses a narrative to draw viewers into the intimacy of an unusual traveler and adventurer. It invites us to become aware of our own ideas and realize some of them, especially the seemingly unrealistic ones, and to live our authentic lives.
The project/event is carried out within the framework of the Clubture-HR program program exchange and cooperation with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the Kultura nova Foundation, the City Office for Culture, Intercity and International Cooperation and Civil Society of the City of Zagreb and the National Foundation for the Development of Civil Society through the program Knowledge centers.
The performance is supported by the City of Split.
TICKETS
Tickets for performances on Friday and Saturday are available at the online WEBshop and one hour before the start of each performance at the venue or at the festival office (Plančić street 2, from 20th to 25th of May, 9:00 to 17:00). Tickets for The Green are available at the HNK Splt WEBshop or at the theatre box office. Tickets for Project 4,28 km/h are available at the Municipal youth theatre Split WEBshop or at the theatre box office. If you would like and can afford to support the organization of the festival, you can purchase a slightly more expensive festival pass and help the future development of contemporary circus.
